All Washington, DC licensees are required to complete 15 hours continuing education in order to renew their real estate license:
9 Mandatory Hours to include:
• DC Legislative Update, Rent Control and Landlord Tenant Housing Rights — 3 hours
• DC Fair Housing and Predatory Lending — 3 hours
• DC Ethics Update — 3 hours6 Elective Hours:
• All Maryland courses offered by REI can be processed as elective credit in DC.Note: A DC processing fee of $20 is required for each elective course. This fee includes electronic processing of credits to DC, and a DC certificate will be mailed to you.
